Terms of Service

Last updated: May 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Risk Marshal, a subscription software platform operated by Housle ("Risk Marshal," "we," "our," or "us").

By creating an account, subscribing, installing our Expert Advisor (EA), or otherwise using the platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Risk Disclaimer. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms form a binding agreement between you and Housle. We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction. You represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you will comply with applicable laws, broker terms, and prop-firm rules that apply to your trading activity.

3. Description of Service

Risk Marshal provides software for trading discipline, account monitoring, performance analytics, alerts, dashboards, and optional rule enforcement through our EA and related integrations (such as MetaApi).

We are a technology provider only. We do not hold customer funds, execute trades "as a broker," or act as a custodial financial service provider. However, you expressly acknowledge and agree that our Expert Advisor (EA) is designed to actively close open positions, modify stop-loss or take-profit boundaries, or block new orders directly on your connected brokerage terminal based on the automated rule configurations you set. These actions are triggered strictly by your user-defined parameters at the execution layer to enforce discipline, and do not represent discretionary trade management or brokerage services by Risk Marshal.

4. Not Financial Advice or Signal Services

Nothing on Risk Marshal—including analytics, alerts, dashboards, AI Coach (Marshal Intelligence) outputs, or enforcement actions—constitutes investment advice, financial advice, trading recommendations, or a promise of profit.

We do not tell you what to trade, when to trade, or how much capital to risk. Any insights are informational tools you choose to use at your own discretion.

6. Your Rules and Automated Enforcement

Discipline features—including daily loss limits, trade count limits, lock periods, and similar controls—apply only to rules you configure. The EA and platform act as automated tools that implement parameters you set; they do not replace your judgment as a trader.

If you set a maximum of four trades per session and take a fifth, the system may close or block that fifth trade according to your settings. That action enforces your rule—it is not a trading recommendation and does not mean we believed the fifth trade would lose or that closing it would make you profitable.

You are responsible for configuring rules appropriately for your strategy, account size, broker constraints, and risk tolerance. Enforcement may occur with delays, partial failures, or broker-specific limitations. We do not guarantee that every breach will be detected or that every enforcement action will execute exactly as you expect.

Removing or disabling the EA during an active lock period, circumventing controls, or misconfiguring rules may affect discipline scoring and platform behavior and may violate these Terms.

7. No Responsibility for Trading Outcomes or Capital

You alone are responsible for your trading decisions, profits, losses, and capital. Risk Marshal is not liable for:

  • Loss of capital, missed profits, or opportunity cost arising from your trading activity
  • Outcomes caused by enforcement of rules you configured (including closed trades, blocked entries, or lockouts)
  • Claims that we should have allowed a trade to run, that a closed trade would have been profitable, or that enforcement caused you to lose money
  • Broker outages, slippage, requotes, integration failures, or market conditions
  • Decisions you make after viewing analytics, alerts, or AI Coach content

8. Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain secure credentials and notify us of unauthorized access
  • Ensure your rule setup, account connections, and EA installation are correct
  • Comply with your broker's, prop firm's, and local legal requirements
  • Use the service lawfully and not to abuse, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the platform
  • Pay applicable subscription fees and keep billing information current

9. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed through Paddle (or another payment processor we designate). Checkout and subscription management are subject to the processor's terms and privacy policy as well as these Terms.

Fees are charged in advance according to your selected plan and billing cycle. You may cancel renewal through your account or the processor's customer portal where available; cancellation stops future charges but does not automatically refund the current billing period unless this Refunds section or applicable law applies.

We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable notice. Downgrades or cancellations take effect per your plan terms and processor rules.

10. Refunds

We aim to handle billing issues fairly and simply. Refund eligibility depends on the situation:

  • Subscription refunds — reviewed case by case when you contact support@riskmarshal.com with your account email and charge details. We may offer a refund, credit, or other remedy where appropriate.
  • Duplicate charges — refundable when verified.
  • Fraudulent or unauthorized transactions — refundable when verified; contact us promptly and notify your payment provider.
  • Partial-month or mid-cycle refunds — generally not provided, because plans are billed in advance for the full billing period. Cancelling stops renewal for the next period; access typically continues until the period you already paid for ends.
  • How to request — email support@riskmarshal.com with your account email and charge details. Payment processors may offer separate dispute options; we will cooperate on verified billing errors.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of third-party rights
  • Share accounts, license keys, or access in ways that breach your plan limits
  • Attempt to probe, scrape, or compromise platform security
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • Use the service to provide unauthorized investment advice or signals to third parties

12. Intellectual Property

Risk Marshal, including software, branding, documentation, and content we provide, is owned by Housle or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service for your personal or authorized team use while your subscription is active and these Terms are in effect.

You retain ownership of your trading data. You grant us the rights necessary to host, process, and display that data to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, pose a security risk, or if required by law. You may close your account through available in-app flows or by contacting support@riskmarshal.com.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free, or broker-compatible operation. See our Risk Disclaimer for additional trading-risk language.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, HOUSLE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Housle and its affiliates from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your trading activity, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protections in your country require otherwise.

Before filing a formal dispute, you agree to contact support@riskmarshal.com and allow a reasonable period to resolve the issue informally. Courts in Accra, Ghana shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes not resolved informally, unless applicable law requires a different forum.
